Bikiyasen is a tehsil of Almora distric of Uttrakhand it is situated near the banks of river Ramganga. Bhikiyasen is situated in a beautiful Valley.

Ramganga River originates from Doodhatoli ranges in the
district of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand state of India. The Ramganga
River flows to south west from Kumaun Himalaya.It is a tributary of the river Ganges, originates from the high altitude zone of 800m-900m. Ramganga flows by the Corbett National Park near Ramnagar of Nainital district from where it descends upon the plains.
Bhikiyasen is a very old Market and had its history from the times of RAJA HARU SINGH HEET popularly known as Rajaju. Everything is
available in this market and also now there is a Hospital, Bank and ATM facilitie too.
BUT ONE STRANGE THING I FOUND
DURING MY RECENT VISIT THAT IN THIS LARGE WELL CROWDED BUSY MARKET
PLACE THERE IS NO "SULABH SAUCHALAYA" FOR GENERAL PUBLIC
CONVINIENCE. THERE IS A IMMEDIATE NEED OF A PUBLIC TOILET HERE. PEOPLE HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO LOO IN OPEN AND PUBLIC PLACES WHICH JUST POLLUTING THE SUROUNDINGS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE. SO IT IS REQUEST TO THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES TO LOOK AT THIS PROBLEM AND SOLVE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
